Beethoven unpacked, revealed, undressed – you name it, our fantastic Music Director, Robin Browning, explains why Beethoven is the icon he is and why he still has this status more than 250 years after his birth.

The dramatic overture ‘Coriolan’ will open the programme.  Then Robin will take HCO – and you! – on an exploration of the great master’s ‘Pastoral’ Symphony, illustrated by orchestral excerpts and concluding with a full performance.

Holy Trinity Church is at: West Street, Fareham, PO16 0EL (click to view in Google Maps). 

It is less than ten minutes’ walk from Fareham Railway Station and less than five minutes’ walk from Fareham Bus Station.  There is parking behind the Church off Western Road (use postcode PO16 0NT for directions) and close by at Malthouse Lane and Trinity Street car parks – free of charge after 18:00 on Saturdays.
