Façade Suite No 2 – Walton Violin Concerto – Nielsen Symphony No 5 in F major – Dvorak Jazzy Walton, monumental Nielsen and singing Dvorak end the season as it began in bright and breezy mode. Sophie Wang is a very distinguished Chinese soloist and the concerto is one of her favourites. The pre-concert talk 6.30 - Choice of works to be decided by the speaker. |
