Havant Symphony Orchestra is looking for new players!

Do you play an orchestral instrument to Grade 8 standard or higher?  If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are the Havant Symphony Orchestra – an amateur orchestra based in South East Hampshire and performing mainly in the Havant and Hayling areas.  The Orchestra is now over 60 years old and has a reputation for tackling the major symphonic repertoire and also including some rarer works in its programmes.

We are hoping to expand our membership and even if we don’t have a vacancy for your particular instrument at the moment we sometimes need people to fill in for regular members who are unavailable so we’d love to know about you!

We perform at least four public concerts each season and regular members pay an annual subscription which helps pay for rehearsal hall and music hire.  Rehearsals are on Friday evenings in Havant.

The rehearsal hall at the Pallant Centre is less than five minutes walking distance from Havant Station, so convenient for access by rail from the Portsmouth, Fareham, Petersfield or Chichester directions.

Why not come and listen to one of our concerts at Oaklands Catholic School in Waterlooville or at Hayling Island Community Centre?
